This massage is a blend of Swedish and Integrative Bodywork. Swedish is generally more for relaxation but we also blend in Therapeutic and Integrative work to get out those knots leaving you feeling much more mobile and relaxed. This massage may use some hot stones, vibration, or myofascial body work to relieve muscle tightness in the body. This massage is not as deep or focused as our Integrative/Therapeutic Massage.

Myofascial Massage
This massage utilizes Myofascial techniques to release tight and bound connective tissue. Fascia is found everywhere in the body; it surrounds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle. If fascia is bound-up or stuck, the body feels tight, achy, and uncomfortable. Myofascial massage loosens and unwinds this fascia allowing for better flexibility and function. The pressure may be light, medium or deep depending on each persons body tension.

Focused Medical Massage therapy is a suggested therapy to relieve pain and dysfunction due to a specific medical condition, injury, or accident. In order to be reimbursed by your health insurance, you will need an order from your medical provider that contains Diagnosis and Procedure Codes. Your doctor can fax in the order to our office. We do not bill insurance, but we will provide an invoice and receipt for you to send to your insurance company at the time of service..
